Press ⌘T to start a new listing. Parcelona asks a few quick questions, one at a time, and you can press ↵ to move on to the next one or ⌘[ to go back.

Describing the item

First, give the item a name. This part is optional, since Claude can usually tell what something is from the photos, but a brand and model number help it get things right. Then pick a condition, from new to for parts, and add any notes a buyer should know about, like scratches, missing pieces, or what comes in the box.

Adding photos

Every listing needs at least one photo, and the first one is used as the cover. There are a few ways to add them:
  • From your phone. Choose Use phone and scan the QR code with your phone’s camera. Each photo you take shows up in the listing on your Mac right away. You only have to scan once, because the link stays open until you quit Parcelona.
  • With AirDrop. AirDrop the photos to your Mac while you’re on the photos step and Parcelona picks them up from your Downloads folder.
  • From your Mac. Drag photos onto the window or choose them from a folder.
You can drag photos to change their order, and crop or flip any photo by pointing at it and choosing the crop button. Your original photos are never changed.

Getting a draft

After you choose where to sell, press ↵ and Parcelona gets to work. Claude looks at your answers and the first few photos, searches the web for what similar items have sold for, and writes a price, a title, and a description for each place you’re posting. You can watch its searches as it goes. If it needs to know something it can’t figure out, like which model you have, it will ask you, and you can either answer or press ⌘D to let it make its best guess. You can choose how Claude prices things in Settings › Agent. Gone by Friday prices to sell quickly, Going rate aims for a fair price, and Worth the wait prices near the top for a buyer who wants that exact item. You can also give it instructions to follow on every listing, such as a tone you like or something you always want mentioned.

Reviewing and posting

When the draft is ready you can change anything on it, including the price, the title, the descriptions, and the order of the photos. When it looks right, press ⌘↵ to post it, or ⌘S to save it as a draft and come back later. Parcelona saves every listing, along with its photos, in ~/Parcelona/listings on your Mac. Once a listing has posted, it moves to the archive when you switch away from it. You can open the archive with ⇧⌘E and restore anything in it. If a post fails, the listing stays open so you can fix the problem and choose Retry. If the draft comes back looking generic, Parcelona probably couldn’t reach its server and filled in a basic version instead. Check your internet connection, press ⌘[ to go back, and press ↵ to try again.
