Parcelona is a Mac app that helps you sell things you don’t need anymore. You tell it what the item is and what condition it’s in, add a few photos, and it looks up what the item sells for and writes the listing for you. When you’re happy with it, Parcelona posts it to eBay, to a Facebook buy and sell group, or to both.

What you need

You’ll need a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 14 or later, and a Google account to sign in with. To post anywhere you’ll also need an eBay account, a Facebook account, or both, though you can draft listings without either. If you plan to post to Facebook, install Google Chrome too, because Parcelona uses it to sign in to Facebook.

Installing Parcelona

Download Parcelona.dmg, open it, and drag Parcelona into your Applications folder. The app is notarized by Apple, so it opens without any warnings. After that it keeps itself up to date, installing new versions when you quit.

Signing in

The first time you open Parcelona, choose Continue with Google. Your browser opens so you can pick your Google account, and Parcelona notices on its own once you’re signed in. You’ll then see a quick note about the free plan and a screen where you can connect eBay or Facebook. You can do that now or come back to it later in Settings (⌘,), as described in Posting to eBay and Facebook. When you’re ready, press ⌘T and follow Making a listing. If you have questions or something isn’t working, email us at hello@parcelona.app.
