# Posting to eBay and Facebook

> Connect your eBay and Facebook accounts and choose how your listings are posted.

You can connect eBay, Facebook, or both in **Settings** (⌘,). Each one has a switch that picks it by default on new listings, and you can still change where a listing goes on its own.

## eBay

To connect eBay, open **Settings › eBay** and choose **Connect eBay…**. eBay's own page opens in your browser, where you sign in and approve Parcelona. Your connection lasts 30 days and renews every time you post, so in practice you stay connected as long as you keep listing.

eBay needs every listing to have a shipping policy, a payment policy, a return policy, and a location to ship from. Parcelona uses the business policies already set up on your eBay account, and you pick which ones to use in the same settings screen. If Parcelona says your account needs business policies turned on, choose **Turn on**. If you add or change policies on eBay later, choose **Reload from eBay** so Parcelona sees them.

You can also turn on **Allow Best Offer** and set percentages for offers to accept or decline automatically. Listings are fixed price and stay up until they sell or you end them on eBay.

## Facebook

Parcelona posts to a Facebook buy and sell group of your choosing, using the listing's cover photo. You'll need Google Chrome installed.

To sign in, open **Settings › Facebook** and choose **Sign in**. A Chrome window opens to Facebook, where you sign in the way you normally would, and it closes on its own once you reach your home page. Everything to do with Facebook stays on your Mac, and your password and cookies never reach our server.

Next, enter your group's name and paste its link, which you can copy from your browser while you're on the group's page. You can also add a usual meetup spot for pickups and say whether you're happy to ship.

Some groups have admins approve every post. If yours does, Parcelona shows the post as submitted, and it goes live once an admin approves it. If Parcelona says Facebook didn't confirm a post, check the group before retrying so you don't end up posting twice.
